Description

Experience the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site!

Explore a place where the course of the nation changed when one of America's best known presidents assumed office in a moment of crisis. A guided tour takes you back to September 1901 Buffalo, to witness the fateful occasion as it unfolds as you visit exhibits and restored rooms, including the inaugural room itself. Post-tour self-guided exhibits address the impact of Roosevelt's presidency upon the nation in his era and today, and how the issues of TR's time continue to affect the national dialogue today.

It is recommended that you allow a minimum of one hour to experience the TR Site.

If you are requested to provide a telephone contact number, this is only so that you may be notified of an emergency closure due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
